During my studies in Japanology, I have gained a special interest in the topics of orientalism and exoticism. My role in the TIMEJ-project is assisting the group in various tasks, such as building the Chronopedia-wiki and updating our literature database.”

"I am a PhD student and research asstistant in the department of Japanese Studies at the Institute of Asian and Oriental Studies of the University of Zurich. After minding my own business for a while in my cozy office at the institute, I was approached by TIMEJ‘s Principal Investigator Prof. Dr. Raji C. Steineck and asked to take charge of the Project‘s Website together with established Team Member Alexandra Ciorciaro. The results of this collaboration are the pages you are currently looking at and my role is to keep those sheets updated."

“I work as Administrative Assistant at the Institute of Asian and Oriental Studies. My tasks within the TIMEJ Project are checking the submission of the project members' timesheets and handing them to the corresponding grant administration office. Furthermore, I am in charge of the reimbursement of travel and conference expenses.”
